Cloyne is about 6km from Midleton. As you approach Cloyne the course is immediately on the right. Under no circumstances are vehicles to be parked along this stretch of roadway. Parking for athletes and spectators is at the GAA grounds in the middle of Cloyne. From the car park follow signs to the course which is about a 200m away. I'm a Chartered Physiotherapist and by far the most common running injury I see is the ITB syndrome. 99% of the time runners stretch only the frontal plane muscles i.e quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles. Very often the Gluteals, ITB's an general hip complex is bypassed (usually because they are the tightest muscles and therefore hurt or feel like you're getting nowhere!).
