The Cheetah Run is largely off the public road - only 284m is on the
public road. The remainder is on private roads within Fota Wildlife
park and the grounds of Fota House.
Eagle AC is appealing for
volunteers, from the Club and also non-members, to steward the event.
About 40 to 50 stewards are required to steward this event, so all
assistance is gratefully accepted. If you are available please contact
one of the people listed below. If you haven't contacted anyone , but
find yourself available on the night, don't worry, we'll be glad to see
you and will find a slot for you.
Strangely, because of the complexities of Fota Wildlife Park,
with animals and birds wandering about - as they do - along with park
furniture and animal control measures, more stewards are required for
this event than for a 'normal' race. Traffic management requirements
are heavy also.
