Cork Area Race Results Database - CARD
Eagle AC's old members race results database has been retired and a new database, the Cork Area Race Results Database, CARD, is replacing it.The old database comprised only of Eagle AC members results, however the new database comprises of all available results.
Whats in CARD?
CARD comprises of available race results from the Cork Area, along with selected Munster and National results. It will also include Eagle AC members results from races in any other location, e.g. races abroad and also excerpts from large Irish events, e.g, Dublin, Belfast and Longford Marathons.
At present, CARD comprises approx. 40,000 individual results, mainly from all 31 Ballycotton 10's to date (over 31,000), all Eagle AC races (approx. 3,500) and selected other BHAA and AAI club events. Eventually it is intended to include all available results, including road, Cross-Country, Track and Mountain Running from the Cork Area.
Data Protection
The database contains no other information than what you see. No personal details such as Date of Birth, Address, Phone No or email address is stored. Stored information is exactly (apart from formatting and error correction) as per the results sheets.
ERRRORS
To date all records have been "pulled in" in electronic form, from existing files and web-based results. Any speeling and other errors in the original data have NOT been corrected. priority is on uploading records, not error correction.
Why isn't the Ballydung 33.75k included?
Well, we haven't got the results. If you want to mail us your results, preferably in Excel form (but we'll take them in any format) then we'll be more than happy to oblige.
