We're doing a 'Great Flood Run' tomorrow morning (sun 22nd) @ 8:30am, from B&Q car park in Mahon.
Route.........basically, in through the city along the areas that were flooded earlier in the week. We'll try and clock up about 8 miles. Pace........about 8:30 miling with stops for photos ;o) Gear........the weather forecast is awful...(very windy with some showers)....... and there might be big pools of water to run through so the chances of staying dry are slim. Dress accordingly.................and a change of clothes at the end might be an idea as well :o)
Sounds like this might suit you to start.

Hi Diarmaid, Paul Daly posted this on the Eagle newsgroup the other day: "there will be a group doing a long run in Carrignavar this Saturday Dec 5th at 8.30am. The pace is around 8ish min. mile. Meeting at the carpark by the swimming pool/tennis court area in Carrig village. It will be 12.5 miles overall with 4 more to add on if needed. Directions from the City go to Blackpool up Dublinhill veer left at Blackman pub and follow road for about 5 miles into village. All welcome"
